After much hard work, we're happy to present the new PerceptionNYC Website.

Handed a design by Perception's talented professionals, we created the Drupal 7 site in just over a week. This includes HTML5 style video, with flash fallback for maximum browser compatibility, even on mobile.

The generation of flash-fallback code for wide browser compatibility is compliments of VideoJS which has good Drupal support in the form of several modules. However, debugging HTML5 video playback can be a bit of a challenge, you really should understand the base technology stack in order to even know which haystack the problem needle is in.

Drupal 7 Views does not disappoint. By leveraging custom TypeKit fonts and the liberal use of CSS, we're able to create pixel-perfect rendition of the design's data filters without resorting to (and having to maintain) custom code.

The site is hosted on and monitored by Brandorr's private networking infastructure.

We appreciate the opportunity and unique challenges of this and to deliver a site that allows the artists at Perception to quickly upload, tag, release and promote product that showcase their skills.
